Nihat Kahveci: who is he?

The renowned former football player began his career with Esenlerspor while still a high school student. He was born on November 23, 1979, in Istanbul. After graduating from high school, Nihat Kahveci, who played football as a star for Esenlerspor during his high school years, continued his career in the Beşiktaş organization. The football player, who debuted for Beşiktaş A2 in 1996, has grown in popularity as a result of his eleven goals in twenty-seven games.

He played in his first game in 1997 against Bursaspor. In the 1998 game against Trabzonspor, he scored his first goal. His team went on to win the Turkish Cup that same year at the end of the regular season. The President’s Cup was won by Nihat Kahveci, a longtime member of the Beşiktaş football team, in the game against Galatasaray.

Between 1998 and 1999, he appeared in twenty-eight games and scored seven goals per season. By scoring both goals during their 2-0 loss to Kocaelispor, he began to establish himself as one of the team’s star players. The football player, who participated in every cup game played between 2000 and 2001, helped his team win the Atatürk Cup.
In the season games played in 2001 and 2002, Nihat Kahveci, who played for Beşiktaş and scored six goals during that time, experienced his best years and rose to the top of the Turkish football rankings. He was moved to the Spanish team Real Sociedad at the end of the season, and in 2004 he was named player of the year.
Nihat Kahveci was moved to the Villareal squad after his contract with the Spanish team expired in 2006. After suffering a severe injury, the well-known footballer returned to the team and became famous for the goals he scored against Norway and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
